This site offers a range of enjoyable ways to experience Tasmania's vibrant state forests. Located in the state's south, the Tahune AirWalk gives you the chance to walk among the giants of the forest and take in exhilarating views from the spectacular elevated walkway through the treetops. Mixing fun with light adventure, there is a forest experience for everyone and a trip to Tasmania would not be complete without encountering.

Thrill seekers, you can’t go past the Eagle hang glide adventure. Feel the wind beneath your wings as you glide through tall trees and over the Huon River. You can even touch Tasmania’s famous Huon pine from the viewing platform.

Passengers are fitted with a harness by their instructor and given a safety briefing. The automated glider whisks you from the forest floor, 200 metres across the Huon River, to stop 41 metres in the air. You then automatically glide back to terra firma. No passenger participation required (apart from the occasional scream!). Passengers fly solo. Due to safety requirements passengers must weigh between 25kg and 120kg. Operational times: October to March: 10.00am – 5.00pm daily except Christmas Day
April to September daily 10.00am - 4.00 pm

As a participant on the Eagle Hang Gliding recreational activity you need to be aware there is a potential risk of injury resulting from adverse weather conditions, mechanical failure or malfunction or other hazards.
If you choose to participate in this recreational activity you must be prepared to accept this risk.
