Here to see the area? Bathurst is the ideal base from which to visit the rest of the Central West of NSW. Visit Minerals and Fossil Museum, art gallery, lovely Victorian and other architecture or take a walk around the river.

Explore further afield by car, meander through the historic villages of Carcoar,Milthorpe, Sofala, Peel,Tarana (have lunch at the pub),Japanese Gardens in Cowra,Zoo at Dubbo,wines in Mudgee, caves of Janolan or Abercrombie Caves.

This is a free standing Studio Room with a queen bed, ensuite and own verrandah, situated in a cottage style garden . It can be B&B or if you prefer more independence, or you are staying for a longer period, you may prefer self catering. Long term tariff can be negotiable There are tea making facilities, crockery and cutlery, There is a fridge a/c, heating, electric blankets, TV, DVD, mags, and books, games and a verandah.

This twin room (with private bath room) has two three-quarter brass beds with electric blankets and doonas. These antique beds are over 100 years old and had been rescued from under a collapsed garage. The private bathroom is right next door. There is a private sitting area in the room or guests may wish to use the lounge with TV, video and reading matter. It is lovely in front of the wood fire in winter. Books, magazines and games are available

This room is a large queen room with a friendly golden glow. It has a queen bed and an extra single bed and ensuite. Relax in the bay window area with a cuppa and your favourite book basking in the afternoon sunshine.

This cosy queen room, with ensuite, is decorated in Wedgewood blue and white with a comfy settee in a private nook...the sun shining through the lace curtains in the afternoon: a great spot to have a cuppa and read or study. Alternatively guests are welcome to enjoy the wood fire in the Regency-style lounge room or on a sunny day sit in the cottage garden.
