History of Coogee Prime Lodge site dates back in early 1980’s - purposely built as a local accommodation inn, the property has been an iconic location in the area and has been existed as accommodation spot throughout until it has met the current hotel brand named as Coogee Prime Lodge in August 2016. Cancellations

Our standard cancellation policy requires reservation cancellations or changes to be advised to us by 5pm (hotel time), two (2) days prior to arrival. Any cancellations thereafter may incur a charge of the first nights’ accommodation.

Some prepaid rates, discounted rates, high demand and special event periods may incur an alternative cancellation policy. The cancellation policy will be communicated during the reservation process and is also supplied in the confirmation email when requested.

No show policy

Failure to arrive on the first day of your reservation and you do not alert the hotel will result in the cancellation of your booking and 100% accommodation will be charged. Any pre-payments made (if any) will also be forfeited.

Credit card authorisation

Coogee Prime Lodge pre-authorises all credit cards on check-in to check for validity and sufficiency of funds. Pre-authorised cards are held as security for your reservation and may be utilised by the hotel to cover for any applicable charges including incidentals or vandalism. In addition to the cost of the room, a $100 security deposit is pre-authorised upon check-in. This is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10 working days and may affect the available funds balance or spending limit. Once a pre-authorisation has been made, we cannot release, remove or lower the authorised amount until we process the final account on departure. Failure of returning the hotel key on check out will incur a $20 fee out of security bond hold. In the instance where a valid credit card cannot be provided, we will require a $200 cash bond for per room which can be returned on check-out. Different terms and conditions apply for group reservations.

Additional person charges

Maximum occupancy is set for each room type. Additional fees apply for reservations with extra guests. An adult is defined as an individual 18 years of age and older. Coogee Prime Lodge charges guests aged 16 and over sharing the same room with existing beddings an additional fee of $39.00 per person per night including a rollaway bed.

Unaccompanied Minors

A child who is staying without the accompaniment of a parent, guardian or adult over the age of eighteen (18-years) is considered as an unaccompanied minor. An unaccompanied minor/s may be permitted to stay at Coogee Prime Lodge if they can satisfy the normal payment and identification requirements. Coogee Prime Lodge cannot accept any responsibility for injury caused by an unsupervised minor staying in our premises, nor can we provide the service of supervising and caring for a minor during their stay.

Children (under 2 years) are accommodated free of charge in existing bedding when sharing with 2 adults. A baby cot is available upon request.

Car Parking:

Car parking is complimentary for one car per reservation, however must be requested when making a reservation as we have limited parking spaces. (Please note our hotel car park clearance is 2.4 meters high and only the registered car can be parked at your nominated car spot). Cars must depart the hotel by no later than 11.00 am on day of departure.

You can also rent the space for a long-term car park while you are away at $75 per week. The cost of long-term car park is a flat rate of $75 per car for up to 7 days including the day you pick up your car. Each additional day (after up to 7 days) is $15 per day.

Getting There:

FROM SYDNEY AIRPORT

AIRPORT SHUTTLE

A shuttle bus pick up service can be arranged for our guest at a cost of AUD20 per person. Please note that pre-booking is required. We will ask you to go to the pick up point according to the point of arrival and meet the shuttle bus representative.

ARRIVALS AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT T1:
Make your way outside of the Terminal building. Turn to the right and walk to BAY 34

ARRIVALS AT DOMESTIC AIRPORT T2 AND T3:
Our driver will be waiting for you at the Horse Shoe pick up point which is located between the two Domestic terminals.
The travelling time is approximately 20 – 30 minutes depending on the traffic and the time for the shuttle bus operation is from 5 am to 5 pm.

CAR

If you are travelling by car, please use this Google Maps Link to find directions to get to the hotel. If you are using a GPS, you must enter the Hotel's address as ‘272 Clovelly Rd Clovelly'. Parking must be booked in advance and it is designed for small to medium sized vehicles.

TAXI

Taxi transportation can be found directly outside both International and Domestic terminals. Just tell the taxi driver our address and it should not take longer than 30 minutes at a cost of approximately AUD$35-$45.
